The Founder
​
Principal of School and the founder of J.J. Morgan Academy is Josh Morgan. Josh brings years of leadership experience in special education. He most recently served as the Executive Director and founder at SEAL-LSP Incorporation , a nonprofit organization in New York, which provides educational programs. Programs are open to all students, but especially benefit those who have learning disabilities. Josh was also an Education Coordinator for YMCA of Greater New York, training and leading staff at school sites.
Josh has personal experience with disabilities and struggles in school, so he helps students who need it the most. Special Education Teachers endorse Josh's programs as being high quality, and a creative and unique way for students to learn.

Josh is affiliated with Teachers College, with a master of science degree in Clinical Psychology from Columbia University.

School Instructors
Our Instructors are devoted to students, who can make their subject exciting to them, and who represent our academy's motto. All instructors receive intensive year-around training on curriculum development, student engagement, and on-line learning, prior to teaching. Our instructors come with a lot of energy, and are passionate educators.

The Morgan Academy Experience

Research shows that smaller class sizes benefits students, because they receive more one-on-one attention from their teachers.

Students receive a rigorous private school education for free.
Shorter School Days
We commence at 10:00am and conclude at 2:00pm. At Morgan Academy, we feel that starting later in the day benefits the students.
